Snake Eyes 600w iron heads are precision forged from billets of S45C carbon steel to provide optimal feel for a clean muscle back design. A new 5 step precision forging process is an improvement over the traditonal 2 or 3 step forging process. The new 5 step process produces more accurate raw forgings, compacts the metal tighter for the elimination of voids and allows for less grinding and polishing to give better consistency from head to head. 600W wedges offer wider sole widths than the Orginal Snake Eyes Forged wedge and a tour beveled sole design to enhance the playability from the sand, rough or fairway. Bounce angles are geared to be current with trends by PGA Tour players. The 60* wedge is designed with 10 degrees of bounce to allow better play from the sand and rough. "U" grooves are CNC machine milled for utlimate accuracy.

  • Precision forged from billets of S45C carbon steel, the 600 series wedges deliver optimal feel for a clean muscle back design. Compared to the traditional 2- or 3-step forging process, the new 5-step forging procedure produces more accurate raw forgings, tightly compacts the metal to eliminate voids and significantly reduces the need to grind and polish for a better consistency from head to head.
  • With a wider sole width than the original Snake Eyes Forged Wedge and a tour beveled sole design, the Snake Eyes 600 wedges deliver exceptional playability from the sand, the rough and the fairway.
  • Bounce angles keep up with current trends set by PGA Tour players. For example, the 60° wedge is designed with 10° of bounce for improved play from the sand and the rough.
  • 600WB wedges are finished with a black oxide finish that has a high-gloss 'oily' appearance. The black oxide finish does wear off over time and surface beneath will rust, leaving a well-worn appearance that has become quite popular with Tour players.
  • "U" grooves are CNC machine-milled for ultimate accuracy.

  • TOUR LOOKS WITH PLAYABILITY
    5040 Series wedges derive their name from the very playable sole design measurements (50mm leading edge to trailing edge radius; 40° trailing edge bevel). The blade profiles are slightly less rounded than the original Snake Eyes Forged models and offer a tour-beveled trailing edge. And, like the Forged models, 5040 wedges feature the popular ‘pre-worn’ sole to allow for shots played from a wide variety of lie conditions with either square or opened faces.
  • CAST AND FORGED — THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
    A new investment forged process offers both the precision of investment casting with the feel advantages of forging to produce a very accurate, soft and solid feeling line of wedges. The process starts by investment casting the initial head shape from 8620 carbon steel. The head is then forged in a hydraulic press compacting the face material 150 kg/cm2 to align the grain structure and eliminate voids. Finally, the face is skim milled to ensure flatness, and the scorelines are CNC milled for accuracy.
  • TOUR DESIGN — RUSTING FACE OPTION
    5040 Series wedges are offered in a fully chromed version as well as a Tour Design ‘Rust Face’ version. The Tour Design wedges go through an extra blasting step that removes the chrome from the scoreline area only allowing the hitting area of the face to rust over time. An effect that has become popular amongst many Tour players because it creates a naturally textured surface that some feel offers enhanced spin control and better frames the ball at address.

  • Superb-quality Snake Eyes wedges offer clubmakers the opportunity to capitalize on tour-quality wedges with name-brand recognition -- in two exquisite finishes: traditional chrome and new black, nickel-chrome.

  • Forged from the highest quality S45C carbon steel under exacting temperatures and pressure of 100,000 pounds per square inch. The result is a high-performance wedge with the highly-desirable, medium-soft feel (Rockwell hardness rating of HRB85) of forged carbon steel.

  • Snake Eyes wedges also feature the "preworn" sole which promotes solid contact on shots played from any lie. Bounce angles are reduced as the sole gets closer to the hosel, keeping the leading edge closer to the ground when the face is open -- reducing the chance of "skulled" finesse shots around the green.

  • New Forged Black wedges are subjected to a special CAPD (Cathodic Arc Plasma Deposition) Titanium-Nitride treatment which employs a vacuum arc to create a vapor emission of the compound. Under tight controls, this process provides both added wear resistance and the exquisite dark finish. A tungsten-carbide and diamond-powder face blasting treatment creates enhanced ball control and a diamond-like look on the face.

  • New, improved forging process produces higher densities, less grinding and polishing, more head-to-head consistency and better maintains the clubhead shapes and profiles.

  • Black finish available in 52, 56 or 60 degrees in Men's right hand only
